If you’re peaky blinders fan then this is the place for you. Luke took me for my birthday back in December. Just on the outskirts of Birmingham in a place called Dudley lies this amazing victorian village full of things to see and do!

Starting off at the top of the town theres an old car garage full of old and unique classics from all eras. Here you can catch the classic shuttle bus which takes you right into the heart of the town. If you prefer to walk, it only takes around 15 minutes.

Once in the town you’ll find yourself on the main street right outside the chip shop, here you can grab yourself a selection of period foods and drinks as well as some wonderful fish and chips! In the winter when we visited theres an open fire in the street to keep warm however in the summer I doubt this will be an issue.

Around this area theres lots to see, including the shcool, selection of shops, town hall and the fun fair. You can grab a cup of tea in the town hall and take a look at the old fun fair just behind the shops.

Walking down the steps in front of the shops you can take a look along the streets and houses which you can pop in and take a look around. With a little cinema and pub to try some old beers in front of the fire.

Once visiting the bottom half of the town, we opted to walk back up to the top exploring all the little cottages where people will tell you everything about it, here you can also go on 20 mintute tour of the mining tunnels which is well worth going on!

All in all, this is great value for money and we would strongly recommend this day out, if you visit once you can get an annual pass to visit for a whole year.
